We should do this and make some awesome t-shirts to hand out that advertise Jackson Street! Maybe get local residents to pull together flowers from their gardens to sell or give away as little mini bouquets. The t-shirts could say, “Jackson Street: What if…” and then show a cool retro image of a flower shop or something.
Love this idea. What if we organized it next to Chef Cafe in front of that new mural? Not the most visible place, but it would be great to celebrate that too!
Yeah – it would definitly be nice to have something we can point to so we can show that people are already paying attention to Jackson Street. As long as its got a decent amount of foot traffic and our spot if very visible, I think its do-able.
