We were happy to lend a hand to the Jackson Street Corridor Association’s November Street Clean. We hosted supplies, baked a quince-apple crisp and set up a tent so folks could get of the rain at 25th and Jackson. The fine folks of the Jackson Place Community Council met at 20th and Jackson.
A big shout out to the many volunteers who joined us for a bit of their Saturday morning. We got a lot of garbage picked up and go some of the leaves out the gutters and unblocked the storm drains. All super important for the rainy season. Thanks also to Pratt and Two Big Blondes for letting us stage the clean up at their businesses.
Seattle Public Utilities will get you all the stuff you need if you want to organize one in your neighborhood. We’re looking forward to doing another one after Christmas, so if you’d like to lead it or be on the mailing list, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
